Shortly after taking on the role of general manager it became quite obvious that our health safety policies and procedures were in need of a serious overhaul. After a month or so of trying to do this myself, I realised that I was going to need some help. It was then that we got in touch with Pete at Your Safety Training. Pete came in and we discussed what we had in place and what we really wanted and needed and we basically decided to start afresh.

Pete has worked with us to create completely new documentation including new policies and risk assessments all of which are completely tailored to us and the way we work. He has worked closely with us to help introduce these and to make sure that they are followed through. He has been a real asset to us and has made us aware of things we would never have found out by ourselves.

It is now really reassuring for us to know that we have the correct policies and procedures in place and means that we are free to get on with the job in hand. We have an ongoing working arrangement with Your Safety Training who provides us with staff training in many areas as well as keeping the paperwork up to date. Pete also comes in once a month and carries out on-site inspection of all our fitters to ensure that what’s happening on site is inline with our policies, which does help to keep our guys on their toes.

In all honesty, I cannot recommend Pete highly enough, he has taken a massive burden from me and he is always on hand if I need to ask any questions, which in the world of COVID19 has been quite often.
